Hi,

I'm part of a small indie game team and probably should have registered using a less anonymous id :)

The visual style is what attracts me to retro usually. This is why I like games like Cortex Command.

Hi there fellow retroholics,i'm 34 and scottish. I'm a diehard pars fan with a wife and 2 kids.

My first console was an Intellevision and my first computer was a zx spectrum 48k+.

I currently own a playstation3,wii and a DS. My attic plays host to a gamecube,a snes,an n64 and a dreamcast.

My favourite retro games are all things mario and zelda, most tomb raider games, pilotwings, ico, sensible soccer, alundra and manic miner.

Hopefully i'll become a regular contributer to the forum as long as its free of trolls and the rugrats give me the time.

My names keith by the way and rapidly-greying is my psn name.

Alright?

I'm Paul... what to say, what to say...?

I'm 39, and I've been playing games since the Seventies. Yeah, pretty much all my life! I've owned computers and consoles right throughout the gaming timeline, and still enjoy games on all systems.

I'm from and live in the north-east of England, although I had a five-year timeout when I lived in the USA with my American wife. She's in the UK with me now, with our two sons.

I don't just love playing games, I love writing about them too. I wrote extensively for online mag Way of the Rodent when it was going strong, and I also managed to be involved in ZZAP! 64's Issue 107 and DEF Tribute. I usually use one of my ZZAP! pics from those mags for my avatar... I won't here, though, for fear of confusion (unless RG wants to hire me! :-P)

Now, I'm pretty much limited to blogging... I've got 400+ posts up at my blog, A Gamer Forever Voyaging, covering everything from Atari VCS/2600 to XBox 360. And it's good to finally get myself signed up to the RG forums.

My name's Lee, I'm 23, I live in York. I'm from Catterick Garrison/Darlington in the north east. I seem to reminisce about games more-so than play them nowadays. My era I would say was the N64 and Playstation period...spilling over into the PS2. I'm very keen on the Zelda, Mario, Final Fantasy, Hitman, Resident Evil, Duke Nukem, 'games made by Rareware', GTA, series of games. I occasionally perform stand up comedy in York and parts of the north.

Thanks for your comments, and the link! I didn't want to join the forum and just blatantly spam my blog all over the shop... subtlety is usually the best policy with such things! I'll head there when I'm finished my latest post, which just happens to be on Paradroid...

Haha! Hey, I'm doing a Braybrook series! I did have an option in my poll for the Magic Knight games on the Speccy, but it didn't win this time... maybe later.

I'm not terribly well up on the Spectrum though, so it's a definite voyage of discovery whenever I play any of those games. And I've just taken in a 48K Spectrum of my very own... needs a bit of fixing up, but I'm looking forward to getting it running. :)

Hi there again! Well, i actually last logged on here over a year ago! :o and this thread was the only one I ever posted in! So here is a reintroduction, and a few updates since last June!

I still have the Dreamcast, and 6 games for it, but it hasn't been played in months 'cause the lazer often gives up during gameplay; I need to take a look at it. I also brought a Sega Saturn last September, I think I also have six games for that to, but i need to check. I'm quite memorized about a VCD card but have never got round to actually obtaining one, plans just being washed away? Today an S-Video cable i ordered arrived for it, replacing a Composite Scart.

Outside of video games? I still like roads very much, and i still have my YouTube channel 'Paspiedreamcast' to post them on and a personal vlog. My latest interest is vinyl records! Got a nice Technics Direct Drive turntable, and have been building up a collection since March. So far: 5 LP's. Much better than MP3's and CD's; more emotional, more warming, and more musical! (analogue). And vinyl sales are soaring through the roof so what a great time to get into it.

How did i rediscover this site? I decided to find out what would come up if i typed my username into Google. One of my old posts here came up on the second page!

I hope i don't post here again for another year, or for it to be the last!

I've typed relatively quickly so there may be mistakes.

Paspie

My salutations!

My name is Petros, i am from greece though i've spent some time in wdr-germany and london. I work currently in education.
I had an nes, gb,dreamcast and ds but my favourite gaming period were the amiga in germany of the late 80s. Amazing and unforgiving games.
I also liked x86 games in the early 90s and afterwards.

I consider myself a pc player because those games impressed me the most.
Looking forward to contribute to the discussions, rants and ramblings here.

Hiya all! I am into all things retro, and I am just getting into retro gaming. I dont do much modern gaming, but i am looking into the past for some inspiration, fuelled by finding an old 90s gameboy at a fleamarket whilst i was on holiday.

See ya around!
