Hey guys!

I'm 32, a musician, and I live in Norway.
I just bought my first issue of Retro Gamer and I was hooked all over again...

I started out on the C64, moved on to the NES, Master System, SNES, Megadrive, and PC.
My all time favorite game is Monkey Island 2.

Looking forward to getting to know this place!

Hei og velkommen William... then again, you could just be living in Norway, but at least I tried!

Welcome ! I know the feeling, when i first saw Retro Gamer it brought back so many great memories. So many great games out there to try for the various platforms, i never had a NES but i must admit i loved going through so many of their games, graphics might be more basic back then but the gameplay is still excellent

You're wrong, but not that wrong. I know the basics (greetings, numbers, days, months, colours) and that's about it. Trouble is there seems to be no sense of progression learning Welsh in Wrexham schools. They go over the same things again and again from the ages of 5 to 13 - at least, that was MY experience of it. Unless you go to a Welsh language school, there's little chance of learning enough to be able to hold a proper conversation or watch anything on S4C.

i had the same problem, although welsh, in a welsh school, in a welsh town...the learning of the welsh language never seemed important! i too only know the basics, so rather than a 100% pistake, my comment was 5% educated guess

"Hi, howdy, hello, how are you, how do you do, how are you doing, how's it going, what's going on, what's new, what do you think, what do you hear, what do you say, what do you feel, what's shaking, what's happening, que pasa, what's going down, what it is" ...!

Well, anyway...

Me: PC gamer since birth (1985). The only console I spent/spend a lot of time playing is the N64 which, much to my dismay, is now considered a retro console :?

I have a (non-gaming) "website" (I just use it for hosting things really) with some "music" I recorded. It also has links to my YouTube/LastFM pages.

I think that covers everything. Though I am already in my pyjamas.

Joined Sunday night, and i'm still here :O ...Great Forum :)

I don't really have a favourite system to collect for, however at the moment i guess it's the gamecube. But it'll be somthing else in a month, I obsess over a console for a while then move to another and so the neverending cycle goes on...

If anyone would like to know anything else about myself, you may ask :)

Hey there

Student from Scotland here, mostly into Nintendo (primarily SNES) but have plenty of other consoles to be getting on with as well. Into music, films and football as well on the old non-gaming front, and the odd book!

Hope to see you all in other threads!
