Watched Roadkill with Hugh Laurie, really good and Queen's Gambit on Netflix, which is odd, but still enjoyable.

Oh and the final ep of Season 10 Walking Dead, which I enjoyed too.

Shaft (2019), Samuel L. Jackson arguably doing what he does best, kicking ass and cussing up a storm, good fun.

Last Action Hero, for the first time, not great but better than I expected.

Avengement. Brutal British gangster action movie with Scott Adkins. Action was on point as expected but the plot was surprisingly compelling for a fairly basic and clichéd story. I really quite liked it, and not just for the fights.

YOu know when you find out about a channel on Youtube then end up more or less marathoning most his videos?
Gmanlives, he reviews mainly FPS games and is kinda entertaining

I loved Last Action Hero growing up, get other daft stuff too like the music change mid chase is explained by him changing the Minidisc over.

Tried watching the Liberator. Love World War II 'Saving private ryan' style series. Thought this was more of the same

But it had a very strange look ! Realised it wasnt just the intro but all of it. Didnt realise. So it looks like a 'graphic novel' kinda thing, quite different and just takes some getting used to. Need to watch more

Schitts Creek - Heard great things, watched two of them, not 'too' bad but i heard it takes a few shows to really get going

Not seen anything of Liberator before, need to try that one. The visual style reminds me of A Scanner Darkly

Mulan (2020). It was fairly entertaining, better than I expected from some reviews. Not as good as the 2009 film but there were several aspects of the new one I liked.

Come Drink With Me. A classic martial arts movie that stands out against the more generic stuff of the time.
