Ip Man 4 - Whilst they are great films they seemed to be a bit formulaic,
Somebody hates his fighting style, FIGHT
Even if the resulting fisticuffs are great to watch
Also Bruce Lee bits...........
They better not make a 5th one

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Thanks to Disney +, catching up on a load of nostalgic films and shorts I haven't seen for probably 30 years, namely:
Dumbo - quite spooky for some reason, and being old some of the cultural depictions are way off.
Who Framed Roger Roger Rabbit - still a great achievement technically, but Bob Hoskins' acting ability really seals the deal. And Judge Doom is still frightening
Get Out - found it a very satisfying film with plenty of food for thought behind the horror
Green Mile - cried buckets like you'd expect. I hadn't seen this for 10 years and I was shedding tears in the first 5 minutes. My girlfriend, who hadn't seen it, was wryly puzzled, but she understood by the end why I was blubbing away

Watched The Invisible Man the other night and enjoyed it, although it's not the deepest film I've ever seen. Also making my way through The Office (US) on Prime Video for the third time at the moment. Still the greatest sitcom ever made.
Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Ha, yeah, classic Disney. We watched Pocahontas the other day. It was....problematic...
Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Finished Ashes to Ashes

Yeah, I've quite enjoyed the 3rd trilogy up until this one. I jest felt very underwhelmed when it finished and I can't put my finger on why?! It had so much going on but something was missing

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Not so much a TV fan these days but found myself watching a lot of Vintage and Mechanical watch videos after looking up ways to customise my Casio Royale, me thinks I need a little project to learn repair/restoration on.

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Managed to watch a few movies for a change they are:
MiB International- Not bad, definate sequel syndrome with it not being a patch on the first though and was kinda strange they didn't have J or K (even just impersonated) in 96 Brooklyn and the product placement was fairly evident.
Star Trek Beyond- Seen it several times but still really enjoyed it, Urban definately doing well on McCoy's one liners.
Howard the Duck- Was a way through, strange but funny
One of the Riddick movies aswell but only half paid attention to it, was the most recent one and was a bit meh compared to the others.
