First two seasons of Stranger Things, really good, not especially fond of the 80s but I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would.

Suddenly realised i had never seen Jackass 3d. Watched it on Netflix (its not in 3d) and was in tears sometimes and othertimes nearly puked up myself. Used to like this back in the day and this was entertaining.

I haven't but my brother has and he seemed to quite like it, plays out like games of the era apparently.
Half watched the Greatest showman as my mum had it on while I was messing with my laptop, seems alright for what it is but feels oddly short, and they aren't kidding when they say loosely based on PT Barnums life.

An unusual situation, and one that guarantees I won't be reading the book.
Avangers: Endgame was last night. Pretty good, though a bit long, not as good as the hype (as usual). It wasn't quite the movie I was expecting either, it's very talky.

phase iv - 9
stratton - 6
pirates of the caribbean on stranger tides - 7
maniac - 8
me before you - 8
the green inferno - 8
and soon the darkness - 7
all cheerleaders die - 9
the belko experiment - 9
the shrine - 7
equals - 7
kong skull island - 7
the avengers age of ultron - 9
i agree that the avengers movies can seem to get bogged down in yapping, but there is a hell of a lot of narrative in them, and a second viewing today of ULTRON proved that and that's why i put another point on it

I hated Age of Ultron, it was the only Avengers film I didn't like. Maybe it's time for a rewatch & re-appraisal.

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
I watched Admiral on Amazon prime and it bought about something that's been bugging me a while.
The blurbs and listings have a habit of twisting the truth for a lot of movies and this one is a perfect example, it completely hid the fact that the majority of the dialouge is in Dutch (I've no problem with this as it makes more sense rather than usual habits of speaking English in an accent to give an illusion of speaking another language) and it only bills 2 actors, namely Charles Dance and Rutger Hauer purely because they were more prevailent in the English speaking countries despite for the most part being not being main characters, Rutger is on screen maybe 5 minutes at most before his character falls in battle, Charles does appear more though due to playing Charles II who is kind of the villain.
I enjoyed reguardless, it is based on true events and was well made although not knowing the history fully I cannot comment on accuracy.

Ad Astra.
I enjoyed it. It was slow in places but I wasn't bored. There is a sprinking of action but it's more like Interstellar rather than something like Prometheus. Not as good as Interstellar for me but it's probably about as good as The Martian.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse- Great film, very deserving of its praise and visually very pleasing. Can't wait to rewatching this in 4K and whatever sequels they do in iMax.
