Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
I like to think i'm quite good knowing the big TV shows or films but somehow missed this on Netflix...
The Inmate
Mexican TV series (dubbed in English which isnt too bad) about a CIA agent going undercover in a mexican prison to find and release a judges daughter. Really good so far, stayed up till 1am watching the first 4 episodes
Netflix is sooo good at the moment, nearly got rid of it a few years back but kept it as only the kids seemed to watch cartoons on it. A lot of good stuff on it now though

Bad Moms Christmas. A couple of laughs, but not as funny as it thinks it is. Even the wimmin didn't rate it, so you can safely avoid it.

Bird Box - excellent. A bit like A Quiet Place. Maybe not as good as that but still great.
Tales From the Crypt (1972) - surprisingly good for a really old portmanteau.
TV
Nightflyers - one episode only. Decent looking sci-fi horror thing from George RR Martin.

I watched Bird Box too, thought it was excellent.

Poseidon. A bit meh. Kurt Russell was ok but the rest of the cast weren't up to much, just didn't feel as epic and big budget as it should have.
Christmas Chronicles on Netflix. Pretty decent actually. Kurt Russell again and he does a very good Santa.
Non-Stop. Solid action/mystery thriller aboard a plane, with Liam Neeson.
Also finished Condor. I really enjoyed this series, check it out if you like stuff like 24, Homeland, Jason Bourne, Enemy Of The State etc. It's probably a notch below those but it still entertained me.

Jungle Book The Live Action Disney Remake- Despite me not being too drawn to these live action remakes, this one made great Christmas Day family viewing, singing along to the songs together and whatnot.
Generally, pretty good.

The Hitman's Bodyguard, only slightly above average action comedy. It got a few chuckles out of me and it has some decent action but it's pretty forgetable fluff.
Got it recorded. I've barely seen anything of it so I'm intrigued how it turned out.
