Schitt's Creek season four.

Gets better and better every season in my opinion.

Westworld Season 2.

I enjoyed it but it wasn't as tight as the first season, and even more of a head scratcher. I've got a good grip everything now I think, except that end-of-credits scene, but the mystery is half the fun. Looking forward to the third season.

Went to see Tag at the cinema last night, pretty enjoyable romp with some funny moments but Isla Fisher totally stole the film a support role.

Rostered On

It was OK. It's an Australian Youtube series about working in retail. Seen better, seen worse.

Ready Player One. Seems to take the meh from the book and amplify it. What was a nostalgia kick for 40 something blokes with some crap bits (though admittedly well written and an easy read), has ended up as a kids film. Nowhere near as good as I expected, lacking any real sense of threat or drama that the book managed when it wasn't being incredibly cheesy. It looks sort of good (though the VR world looks less impressive than in my head, presumably an intentional styling decision, since we already have games that look more realistic) and would perhaps be better as a 4DX experience.

Goliath season 1. Missed this at the time, but season 2 has earned it some advertising on Prime and Billy Bob caught my eye. We blitzed the whole season within a week. Not exactly fast paced, but it didn't bore us and had enough new elements brought in with little twists that it warrants a watch imo. Hopefully season 2 is as good.

The Toys That Made Us season two on Netflix.

This time round it was Star Trek, Transformers, Lego and Hello Kitty. I particularly enjoyed the Star Trek episode and would have liked it to have been a longer episode.
