Housebound

A horror comedy from New Zealand. Nothing special but I did enjoy it. I would say more slight comedy than horror and it did have some funny moments in. I would say that it is worth a watch.

Been watching a fair bit...

Tin Star - really enjoyed this
Walking Dead - usual - so/so episodes, okay-ish but gone downhill
Prisoners - With Jake Gyllenhaal. Could have been good if someone knew how to edit and cut the film, went on for nearly 3 hours. Totally overstretched

Got Ash vs Evil Dead, Waco and Counterpart to watch now

About Time - brilliant romantic comedy from Richard Curtis, with an amazing performance by Bill Nighy.
I watched the Red Sparrow the other day. It's pretty mediocre. I wouldn't recommend going to theatre to see it, but once it gets on the streaming services, sure

The Punisher series on Netflix.

Best one of the Marvel/Netflix series I thought. Not perfect but still good.

Our Kind Of Traitor, pretty good spy/crime thriller, would recommend to anyone who liked The Night Manager as it reminded me of that.

On part 5 of 6 of 'Wild Wild Country' on Netflix

Fascinating so far, i thought i knew about all these crazys and their cults but didnt know about this one. Early 80's, imagine a small town in Nebraska, 50 people. Then some followers of some indian guy buy a commune there and day by day 100's arrive and its like they have a small city. Wont say anymore but fascinating.

Knew about the Jonestown massacre in the 70's and other cults but never heard of this one ever.

The Toys That Made Us on Netflix

Interesting series looking at the ups and downs of certain toys and their effects on the company that made them. The first four episodes are Star Wars, Barbie, He-Man and GI Joe.

I already pretty much knew everything about the Star Wars episode but not so much about the rest.

Yeah. Good but not great. Savage in the last episode though. Wow! Watched first episode of Jessica Jones series 2 and nearly fell asleep.

We're halfway through The Defenders, which is a hell of a lot better than Iron Fist. Not sure if it's bad casting or if Danny is just generally unlikeable in the comics.
