Sisters
Had some humourous moments but Tina Fey and Amy Poehler definitely make it watchable.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Saw it with my son yesterday and he loved it. It’s a pretty decent film actually all things considered.

I saw this in 3D with my wife and son and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Also watched Molly's Game on New Year's Day, which was very good and watched All The Money In The World Last Night, which was pretty good but not as amazing as people have made out and a bit too long.

Kingsman the Golden Circle. Alright. A bit too silly and ott, a bit too long, nowhere near as good as the first. The original riffed on Bond while maintaining it's own comedy action style and resulted in a solid movie. The sequel seems more like a parody of itself.

The Detectorists. Watched last of the series and felt a little sad its done. So I went back and started watching it all over again. Not only an adequate filler between halves of the Walking Dead but in many ways a lot more satisfying.

Now You See Me 2, I enjoyed the first film but this was disappointing.
Unlocked, started great, had a Homeland vibe about it, became a bit generic by the end, decent watch though.
Extraction, forgettable but just passble actioner with Bruce Willis and Gina Carano.
Skiptrace, this was a surprising return to form for Jackie Chan, it's not his best by any means but with low expectations it's pretty decent.

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Watched two films in the last week. Blade Runner 2049, which I missed at the theatre run. Was worried, as the original BR is one of my favourites. However, I thought it was really good. It didn't try to do BR again, which was good, it would have failed and would never have matched the atmosphere and mystique of the first. But just followed on and did its own thing.
The second was Loving Vincent, the movie on the life and death of Van Gough that has been completely done and animated in oil paintings. It's visually stunning as you'd expect, but possible a little slow if you aren't massively interested in the subject. But quite engrossing.

Thoroughly enjoyed series 4 of Inside No. 9, and it's been commissioned for a fifth series.

I have been watching Ash vs Evil Dead - it is pretty damn good. Of course, you have to be into the campy horror genre to really dig it, but who isn't
