Godless on Netflix.

Really liked it. Very slow and some storylines didn't really go anywhere but worth a watch I thought.

Fantastic show. Can't wait for the new season. :)
early 2018 / january
that's why i'm seeing it NOW, as i don't want another series overlapping series, already have at least THREE of them!

also the first episode of THE TICK, quite funny and that cinematic format WHOAH ..... as the song goes i was NOT expecting that!

and the first episode of APB too

as i said, going all episodic from now on .....

Sometimes the producers don't get a choice - special shows or holidays can lead to "pre-empts" where an episode is replaced. It can also be down to other factors (like the writer's strike the other year).

Still feels like they want to drag out a 6 episode series and make it a year

Put me off Walking dead

Well that and that it seemed to be going nowhere fast

Working my way through the surprisingly complex Punisher series. 6 episodes in and really enjoying it!

Brooker said he ran out of time to do a 2017 wipe. A real shame. A highlight of the year for me and with trump he would have had a field day.

let's see if i can remember everything

BILL = very funny
GONE GIRL = it was okay, not astounding
LEGO BATMAN = just as funny as .....
THE LEGO MOVIE = still glorious
MALIFICENT = perfectly fine AND different until they actually changed the bloody story, then it fell apart
INTO THE WOODS = it was fine, felt a bit too stagey and streep didn't 'old crone' it up as much as i wanted

as for the brooker type nonsense try 2017 A YEAR IN THE LIFE OF A YEAR
THE GALAXY BRITAIN BUILT
christmas university challenge / mastermind
300 years of french of saunders

Power Rangers movie from last year.

Was OK, a bit meh. Had a very uneven tone, seen worse films.

Sisters

Had some humourous moments but Tina Fey and Amy Poehler definitely make it watchable.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. Saw it with my son yesterday and he loved it. It’s a pretty decent film actually all things considered.

I saw this in 3D with my wife and son and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Also watched Molly's Game on New Year's Day, which was very good and watched All The Money In The World Last Night, which was pretty good but not as amazing as people have made out and a bit too long.
