Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
S8 walking dead mid season finale.
Ive struggled with this show of late. Since S7 maybe, its been a drag. Episodes are a slog on times where in the past, at least something "wow" happened. I found series 8 the worst. This is supposed to be 'all out war' but its anything but. Guns are fired back and forth and characters that have never been seen before suddenly have a line of dialogue, then later on they die and its made out to be traumatic for the cast, its boring.
Anyway, the big ending of this series was quite a shock, but i feel I'm watching it now just out of loyalty rather than actually enjoying it.

Bloody American TV with that s**t, next time its on it will end up being some episodes back to back, then a break, then one more

Godless on Netflix.
Really liked it. Very slow and some storylines didn't really go anywhere but worth a watch I thought.

Sometimes the producers don't get a choice - special shows or holidays can lead to "pre-empts" where an episode is replaced. It can also be down to other factors (like the writer's strike the other year).

Still feels like they want to drag out a 6 episode series and make it a yearmerman wrote: ↑Wed Dec 13, 2017 1:51 pmSometimes the producers don't get a choice - special shows or holidays can lead to "pre-empts" where an episode is replaced. Brooker said he ran out of time to do a 2017 wipe. A real shame. A highlight of the year for me and with trump he would have had a field day.mr jenzie wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2017 5:54 pmsome of LAST years stuff .....

Power Rangers movie from last year.
Was OK, a bit meh. Had a very uneven tone, seen worse films.
