I watched the final episode of Humans. Pretty good. It's good that it is getting a second season. I am sort of intrigued to see how the original Swedish version was.

Then a did one episode of the latest season of Game of Porn - sorry - Game of Thrones - the Dragon Queen seems to like to get her kit off a lot - not that I'm complaining!  Be interesting to see how this storyline develops after the dramatic ending from the last season.

Terminator Genisys - Everything I expected and less. Good opening, boring middle, rubbish end.
It Follows - I absolutely cacked. Terrifying.
Get Hard - dumb comedy but sort of enjoyable.
Ejecta - really decent sci-fi horror. Bleak.
Tango and Cash - first time I'd seen it. Amazing.
White Dog - 1982 film about a racist dog. Pretty bad.

 I think I enjoyed it a lot more than you did, but that's not a bad summary.

I really enjoyed it up to the point where they went into the future then it went from the easily the best Terminator film since the 1st (yes even better than the great, but overrated T2) to easily the worst (yes even worse than the total missed opportunity of T4:Salvation)

By the way, I really enjoy your film commentaries on Twitter, there's a whole batch of films I really wish I had the time to watch clocked up now!

One thing that gets worse is the opening theme song, the first one from the first season is great, but the subsequent versions for the season's after are weak in comparison.

I watched the first episode of Daredevil last night, very promising.

Also watched the first episode of the third season of Ripper Street, good stuff, really enjoyed the first and second series.

It was a great ending. Except for poor Betty :(

I honestly thought Pete's private jet was going to crash.

Don's ending though... perfect.

Yeah - I thought that about Pete as well. It's good to see that someone else watches Mad Men - I thought that I was the only one here who watches it.

Anyway, last night I finished off the latest season of Game of Thrones. It was okay - but not the strongest season of it. Especially, after last season's highs(the battle of the wall and the shocking ending).

I started watching Indian Summers - which was on Channel 4. It's a period drama set in Colonial India. It stars Julie Waters. It's okay - not sure where it's going in its plot-line.

Just watched Fast and Furious 6. Loved it, especially the scene mid-way through the credits that finally ties Tokyo Drift into the storyline. Some great cars in it again too, specifically the Roadrunner Superbird.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

On Saturday night, I finished off Indian Summers. Meh - it's okay, but nothing special - although, it is good that with this and Humans, Channel 4 is trying to get back into producing more top quality drama.

On Sunday, I watched Cold in July. It starred Michael C. Hall(aka Mr. Dexter Morgan). He plays a picture framer in a small Southern town who happens to shot a suspected burglar in his house. What follows is a thriller, it has a few twists and turns. Don Johnson is also in this. It kind of reminded a bit of Blood Simple. It's set in the 1980s - there's synth music and VHS. It adds to the atmosphere. Not all of it works, but it is an interesting story.
