Must have the most bizarre and incomprehensible plot of the fifth doctor. Also, the last episode is unbelievably violent.
On the plus side, janet Fielding.
I love this story. :D

Kingsman. I put it on a little reluctantly, fearing the chaviness would be too much, or that Sam Jackson would be too silly. It turned out to be one of the best films I've seen in a while. Yes, it is a bit silly, but it runs with it and is a lot of fun. It isn't a complete spoof like I expected. Worth a watch if you like spy/action movies that aren't entirely serious.

Mad Men - the first part of season 7 - I did about 4 episodes. Pretty good, you can sort of tell that Don is in self destruct mode!

4 years after watching season 1 of Sons Of Anarchy I started season 2 at the weekend and through a combination of Sky box sets and Netflix I'm catching up. Can't believe I waited so long it's brilliant.

Inside Out - the latest offering from Pixar, at the local cinema. Really good. A stunning return to form for Pixar - they have had a few mediocre films recently, but not this one. Has a lot to say about growing up, etc. I suppose if you have kids, you might relate to it even more. Highly recommended.

Song of the Sea - an Irish hand drawn animation. An enchanting tale with an Irish feel.

Been watching a few documentaries lately

Just finished watching 'The Emperors new clothes' all about the banks etc not paying their taxes, rich people and their tax havens etc. I do like Russell Brand a lot and he brings up a lot of good points in the film but i still cant stand it when a multi millionaire then starts preaching to us or banks about how so many people are in poverty or getting minimal pay etc and hes fine paying a fortune every day for lunch or other ridiculous things etc.

Same as when Bono tells me about starving africans and he sold his Facebook shares for £81 million a few years back

Good documentary but would have prefered a non-celeb presenting it

Just started The Wire.
I know I am late but it is BLOODY AMAZING. In season 2 now, Bunk and Lester are the best on it.

Quality isn't it? Though very dark at times. I loved the scene where Bunk and McNulty just say nothing but "f***" and variations there of for about 4 minutes.

Would take too long to mention all the telly i've been watching, but I watched The Player recently, found it a bit overrated to be honest.

 it can be very funny too.

Just finished season one myself. that speech McNulty's boss gives him when he's moping in the hospital was brilliant
William Rawls: Listen to me, you censored! You did a lot of censored here. You played a lot of censored cards, and you made a lot of censored people do a lot of censored things they didn't wanna do. This is true; we both know this is true. You, McNulty, are a gaping asshole.

You guys are spot on with The Wire, lots of dark humour especially the two meatheads (Herc and the snitch).
McNulty and Rawls are dynamite together.
