Terminator Salvation was awful ; I mean really awful. How on earth can you get such a great franchise so horribly wrong. I liked T3 , I loved them all. But this? It's as if the first 3 never happened. The resistance seems to have done really well out of the war - global nuclear destruction , yet it seems that plenty survived. Wheres all the lasers and crushed skulls from the first movies? As for the shoe-horned in one liners , that sounded quite frankly comical , and dont even get me started on the gaping holes in the plot. As for the ending - I'm no medical student , but if they were being serious then that makes a mockery of the whole film. Also the 50 foot monster robot creeping up on the house and grabbing the inhabitants - no one heard it approach - really? Yet outside the house it is stoming around making the earth shake. Ridiculous ,; I could go on but this film made me waste enough of my life. As for the other film

District 8 was a brilliant film , one of the best I've seen in ages. Gripping from start to end , with some amazingly believable characters , and its so effective in getting the viewer to empathise with the situation of both the main character and the aliens. Has there ever been a better anti-hero? "Some of my best friends are prawns!"

is district 8 a new prequel to district 9 then? lol

I spent last night in a posh hotel and watched Kick Ass from the choice of movies on their entertainment package. It was pretty good and surprisingly violent. I could have watched the free porn but didn't because I am virtuous and pure.

Yeah, I bet you didn't. You were probably the first in the hotel to watch Pervy Nights in Bangkok
Anyway, I got Kick-Ass earlier, so will give that a watch later. I got it out of Asda and got the first part of the graphic novel free :D

Watched Resident Evil : Afterlife 3D tonight & thought the 3D work the best after all the 3D movies I'd seen this year + the soundtrack is pretty good too.
The action is pretty good but the storyline is okesh! as it focal on confronting Wesker & leaves the storyline open again at the end.
It is pretty good action movie with story potholes in it.

Watched A-Team last night and thoroughly enjoyed it.

A few nights ago also watched Infidel. What a brilliant and funny film!

I wouldn't watch anything else :D The DC version is much better than the original version. That goes for 2 and 3 as well.
It's explains the films much better & reason that Riggs is such a lunatic :D[/quote]

Finally got round to watching this version last night (even though I've owned the set for some time) The added scenes really to add to the film and make out Riggs to be a complete teapot. Shame some of the films (2 and 4 in particular I think) have been cut.

Edit: As I've b*ggered the quotes up, here's a recap - Disscusing the Merrits of Lethal Weapon Directors Cut.
