I watched Richard Jewell recently. I'm interested in that sort of thing but for some reason I'd never heard of him or the events that happened before the 1996 Olympics. Fascinating film.

Started watching James May's Oh Cook! as background, I've been eating Spam Ramen for the best part of 20 years so its deffo not new lol but it's alright and if you like his Food bits on Drivetribe you'll like this.

Vangaurd (2019)
It popped up on one of my video sites. A Jackie Chan film
Loads of bad CG, im talking a PS3 graphics car chase and lion, cant remember what the plot was but the action scenes where good

Started watching The Mist on Netflix. disappointed its only 1 series and cancelled. Not too bad but can see why it wasn't an instant hit.

Also the 2 series so far of Ash Vs Evil Dead. Loved it, stupid like the movies at times, but the end of series 2 played total fan service. Haven't seen the 3rd yet, but also disappointing to know its the last.

Watched 3 episodes of The Vow about some weird cult. Stunned how people get into something like that, fascinating so far

Have you read the Stephen King short novel The Mist’ is based on? A lot of Stephen King fans absolutely hate the TV series In the book the Army open a portal to somewhere and all monsters surge through with the mist, trapping the survivors in a shopping mall.

Reviews are slating it as there’s no peril/danger or any supernatural aspect to the mist and all the characters are twats.

I'd forgotten all about this, think I gave it up with a couple of episodes left cause the characters were pissing me off. Thought for sure it'd get at least a second series though.

Watched Taxi Driver last night for the first time.

I adored the scenery, the gritty depiction of New York in the '70s. DeNiro's and Cybil Shepherd's acting was top notch, but I was left wondering where the sub-plots and B-story was.

Despite the above, I'd still highly recommend the movie.
