Pixels was dreadful, that makes it two all I believe!
I try to avoid opinion-as-fact statements like this, especially when concerning art and entertainment, but it's not always easy is it.
Imagine what kind of world we would live in if we all liked the same things!

Watched Pixels with Mrs Ant this aft.

Not terrible, just run of the mill romcom stuff with some videogame refs.

Better than I expected tbh. And Mrs Ant suggested we watch it having seen the trailer.

Pixels was surprisingly watchable given how thin the concept was. A bit like the Battleships movie, a pleasant surprise. Given how bad most videogame movies turn out, both of those are pleasant diversions.
My wife really enjoyed it and my son loved it.

I never said you did, I'm not not paid to review films though, so 'it's a big pile of crap' is the best I can do both factually and opinion wise, although Mr Scott and myself have been watching B movies and bad films lately so I think I'm going to stick Pixels on the list and maybe Jack And Jill, that might be going too far though! Cheers.

Is that the Jim Carrey film? My boys love Carrey so I added it on my netflix list today. Might have to remove it...

It's another Adam Sandler one, where he plays his twin sister as well.

We will definitely put Jack and Jill on the list my friend. Battlefield Earth of course is next. We saw Troll 2 last!

X-Files season 11, I loved this show when I was younger, this season was not very good, 1 or 2 were good, some were ok and the one with the robots taking over was just terrible.

Annihilation.
Enjoyed it but did feel it was just a tad pretentious...

Making Fun: The Story of Funko - Was a decent watch, started off quite good with the history of the organisation by the people who founded the company but then just descended in to talking head segments.

My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman: Tina Fey - Big fan of Tina Fey and enjoyed this though thought it could have been longer.

The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale: Season two - Six quick episodes, some hit and some miss.

Kill Zone 2. Unrelated sequel to the Donnie Yen/Sammo Hung movie form a few years back, this time starring Wu Jing and Tony Jaa. Decent time-passer with strong action as you'd expect from those involved.

The Grandmaster. Anpther Ip Man biopic, this time from critically acclaimed director Wong Kar Wai, with a slightly more romance slant than most martial arts movies. It was good, maybe even very good, but not the greatness I was hoping for.
Pratty's trade list, updated (May 2019)!

I've been watching the latest season of "Orange is the New Black" (Season 6?). Not everyones cup of tea, but I really enjoy the humour and that it has so many different and unusual characters in it, which the writers flesh out and develop, creating many interactions that you wouldn't expect.

Oh, and Better Call Saul Season 4 is out any moment (first ep might be available right now, sadly they tend to drip feed the episodes weekly), so i'll be getting back on board with that one.

Sisters

Had some humourous moments but Tina Fey and Amy Poehler definitely make it watchable.
