Steve Jobs - directed by Danny Boyle and starring Michael Fassbender(as the late Jobs), Kate Winslet and Seth Rogen(as Woz). The tale of Mr. Jobs life at Apple and Next. It's sort of a three act play put into movie form. We've seen Mr. Jobs' life put on to film before in 2013's Jobs - but, this is a more streamlined and focused film. It does portray Jobs in perhaps not a very good light - but, we know that he could be a bit of an @rsehole to his staff, family and friends. Good performances from Fassbender and Winslet(as his assistant Joanna Hoffman) - they're the sort of key to the whole film - their relationship. Sort of has Boyle's familiar directorial touches. Perhaps it's the better film about Jobs. It's interesting - but you'll have a hard time trying to like Jobs as a human being.

Results - Good cast (Kevin Corrigan, Guy Pearce and Cobie Smulders) but just pretty much goes nowhere and stumbles along.
Convenience - English film about two guys who pretend to work in an overnight petrol station to rob the place. Decent enough watch and doesn't out stay it's welcome.
Jeff, Who Lives at Home - Jason Segel playes a stoner. Again decent but very over the top on the sentiment.

Been watching a few classic Star Trek Voyagers over the last week. I know some people didn't like it, but it was probably my favourite (right time, right place for me at my age). Saying that, Janeway is annoying me more than she used to.

Just to pick one out though - the episode where they find a planet with only 3 people on, but they're on a virtual reality life support, which has been taken over by an evil AI clown. Had me pretty freaked out haha.

Dave is not available on freesat unless you have sky.

It's most likely down to money and the fact freesat has a very small user base compared to freeview not making it financially viable. Sky also probably has them locked into a nice long contract worth a fair bit.

It's on Freeview - if you have that. Alternatively, you can use their website and watch their stuff via that.

I watched the new Red Dwarf. Familiar elements in it. I sort of thought - hmmmm. I'll give it a re-watch, but it didn't seem that strong to me.

It's the Captain gig that does it, a woman in a position of power who uses it.

She wouldn't be half as alluring if she was one of the regular sidekicks to the vessel's Captain.
