I only watched this relatively recently, after an ex girlfriend made me endure the remake. which was utter censored. I had my hopes up when she said she wanted to see it. Then she brought out the remake :( That's why she's an ex. The original is ace!

(OK, partly).

Ahhh, that's the one where he's the black man and chauffeur to the old lady. It's sort of pastiche of Driving Miss Daisy - and deals with racism in America.

Man of Steel - presumably because I don't read comic books, but I don't get the hate. It's no Dark Knight, there are definite problems with pacing and script, but it's still a decent film.

Yeah, it's alright. Okay - I tend to agree it's not on the level of things like Nolan's Batman series - but it has its moments. It's good in places - but doesn't tend to stand out as much compared to other superhero films.

Anyway, last night I started watching Mr. Robot - to see what all the fuss was about. Yes, it's pretty good. An interesting concept for a show, and well executed. However, aren't they stereotyping all IT security specialists as people who are borderline autistic with bad social skills?

Very hit and miss. When good it's really good but when it's not, damn it's bad.
I gave up as it was one of a bunch of recommendations from my previous 'boss' , most of which were guff. He was a big fan of Game of Thrones , Parks and Recreation , Revolution , Dexter and Fringe. Only Revolution grabbed me for longer than 2 episodes and eventually even then I couldn't cope with the bad acting.

Room, great performance from the kid that plays Jack, though it felt for me like some parts with his monologues were trying too hard to get me emotional. I Dunno if this is the sort of film you can enjoy, but it's worth a watch I reckon.

IS that on Prime of Netflicks, Aztecca?

I've finished watching Jessica Jones, which was awesome, I'm halfway through Daredevil, which is great, and I've started rewatching Firefly after watching Serenity again recently :)

Just got back from the cinema after watching Spotlight with Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo, Rachel McAdams and Stanley Tucci. Comes highly recommended.
