Tea or Coffee- NO thanks!

Post by krusty40 » Fri Mar 27, 2009 6:55 pm

Just occurred to me this morning, after a workmate offered to get me a tea or coffee, that i hate tea and coffee! Never did like them and never will. Tried them a few times as i was growing up and i just never took to the taste.

I always get strange looks when i mention i dont drink tea or coffee as if it was a crime ha. And me being from ireland, its almost offensive to refuse the traditional "cup of chah" I just stick to alcohol, soft drinks and water.

Anyone else shun the tea and coffee?

Tea is OK, but I love coffee. Used to drink thick black coffee when I was younger. My problem now is that they make me ill, so I can't drink them anymore. :(

I normally just drink water at work. As a child having to make my folks tea/coffee every morning i just hated it ! I normally feel quite hot so love drinking water/fruit juice and not really a cold drink.

Sometimes at work i'll have a strong black coffee as in the past if i've had Red Bull i get funny looks ! For a while my boss thought red bull was alcoholic ! She finally had a word with me and i had to show her the can for her to realise its not !

Just find tea very old fashioned, my wife and her mum waffle on about how nice tea is and how you cant beat a good cuppa etc ! They sound like theyre from the 1940's !

Good point. Could be worse, I could be actively participating in the retro one word association thread like some other people eh ? ;)

Well, I'm not allowed to have any caffeine anymore (doctor's orders) so I usually shun tea and coffee (unless it's decaf)
I drink loads of decaf tea at home, and a bit of decaf coffee.

well off topic is a sweeping description.

i actually find some of the "dreams" and "everyday chuckle" threads interesting and a laugh.

hard to categorise off topic threads as "good" or "bad" :?

I agree, these threads are scraping the barrel a bit.
However, I do find these interesting, as I get to learn something about my fellow forum friends :D

Theres been a fair few odd/boring threads on off topic in the past, i did think the 'would you kill someone for a million quid' was ridiculous !

But always find the off topic part of the forum entertaining.
