Don't get me wrong though, I don't mind my name. Just wish it wasn't classed as a "chav" name... O.o

It's a bit of a bugger for other people though. Very few manage to spell or pronounce it properly. I get called everything from Kylie to Keeley. And even Kelly!

Mines Daniel, named that due to my parents being unable to decided on a name so they picked the first one the saw in the only book they could find in the hospital, the Bible. I dread to think what other names I could have gotten.

Or, in the case of an old flatmate of mine, a drunken, geordie Dave Grohl lookalike. Gordons a pretty decent name, Sir Clive- its uncommon and you share it with a mute, crowbar wielding physicist.

My name is Thomas, but my mam calls me Taffy (I'm Welsh) or Lurky as I used to spend hours hiding in darkness under the stairs on the PC. Harry Potter was another common nickname depending on how long I spent under the stairs.

Most of my friends call me 'Dave', derived from my surname which is Davies.
