Don't worry, despite what some people on here might say, you're not missing anything
Don't get me wrong though, I don't mind my name. Just wish it wasn't classed as a "chav" name... O.o
It's a bit of a bugger for other people though. Very few manage to spell or pronounce it properly. I get called everything from Kylie to Keeley. And even Kelly!

How true

I thought this was the only area where anyone named Colin was a potential serial killer!

Mines Daniel, named that due to my parents being unable to decided on a name so they picked the first one the saw in the only book they could find in the hospital, the Bible. I dread to think what other names I could have gotten.

My brother-in-law's called Colin and he tells me he's managing to keep his murderous rampages down to only one per year now. Actually, he's as nice a bloke as you could wish to meet. My name's Iain.

Or, in the case of an old flatmate of mine, a drunken, geordie Dave Grohl lookalike. Gordons a pretty decent name, Sir Clive- its uncommon
and you share it with a mute, crowbar wielding physicist.
My names Jimmy, apparently after the Martha and the Vandellas song "Jimmy Mack."

My name is Ashley. A nurse suggested the name to my mum as I was born on Ash Wednesday. Two hours earlier and it may have been Pancake.

My name is Thomas, but my mam calls me Taffy (I'm Welsh) or Lurky as I used to spend hours hiding in darkness under the stairs on the PC. Harry Potter was another common nickname depending on how long I spent under the stairs.
Most of my friends call me 'Dave', derived from my surname which is Davies.

Mine's Olivier, just like Sir Lawrence Olivier... (the French version of Oliver)
Apparently, my name was picked at random... guess I was lucky, I like it!
