Anyone tried Brewdog's Elvis Juice at 6.5% ABV? It's an IPA which is heavily flavoured by grapefruit peel. It's really hoppy and citrusey. Quite nice. Another winner from Brewdog.

Think its more for festivals as B&M get a lot of ex-store stock

Check the ABV.... you may be drinking something stronger than you think!

Ooooh! Ok, it is 6.5%
I could have sworn that it was 7.2% when I was first drinking it! :?

Tonight I'm drinking Titanic Cherry Dark 4.4% and it is bloody lovely. :D

It's that time of year again - pumpkin flavoured beer. What's the best one?

Also, I seemed to have missed the whole green ale fortnight this year. Did anyone try any of them? What were they like?

Happy beer drinking everyone. :D

Ok girls with your pumpkin ales...

I'm sitting here supping a pint of Stone Brewery Imperial Russian Stout 10.8%
Imported American Ale :D

If you like a thick stout with Aniseed/coffee flavour, then this is just awesome!

It's been a few weeks of real ale festivals for me. Firstly Doncaster, then Scarborough and last week Sheffield.

Being one of the organisers of the Hull real ale festival I justified my travels as being ' for research purposes'

Couldn't be arsed to fill a bottle up from work tonight - so just grabbed a couple of bottles of Special Brew from the fridge

Not bad actually. Quite a lot of flavour and 8% and these little tablets I'm taking should ensure a jolly good nights sleep.
