What are you doing for Xmas...

Post by boggyb68 » Tue Dec 23, 2008 10:48 am

I'm at home, going nowhere, apart from taking my mum to Midnight mass, and then to a service with my missus and my son on Xmas morning as he is one of the 3 Wise Men...

Then it's grub, drink, presents, drink, games, drink, games and more drink and games, with a bit of telly thrown in for good measure...

What exciting stuff are you all up to...??

Merry Christmas...

I expect we'll be woken at the crack of dawn by the kids, then a mad scramble through presents, all except one of my Daughters who cant be rushed and will take her time opening everything, which is very funny as the others get jelous cos they think she got more than they did.

Well attend morning service at church then all round to my mums for lunch, which will be chaos, think theres 17 of us this year, but it wouldn`t be christmas without the chaos. 8)

Having xmas morning at my place then off to the in-laws for a large dinner.

I intend to fall asleep infront of the TV by the end of it all!

Spending the Christmas at home in our cosy new apartment! No doubt I'll be very full, very drunk and having a merry time playing games all day :D

Midnight Liturgy for us on Christmas eve. Christmas morning will be the usual early morning (when one of the kids is guaranteed to accidentally jump on the bed and land on my nuts!) :?

Then a mad prezzie unwrapping session with photo's/video................

Followed by setting up a DS, Acer aspire one, XBOX360 Elite, GH-World tour, mp4 player, batteries in a shed load of toys....................................................

Then cook the Xmas dinner (I cook - the women clean up after me)
(This year we have a Turkey crown stuffed with Duck - sounds really nice).

Then fall asleep and ignore the kids pestering me about one of the above gizmos not working.......................

I'll be spending it with my family. I'll sleep in as long as possible (I'm working tomorrow), we'll all open our presents in the morning, my older brother taking forever to open each gift carefully pealing the wrapping paper off while giving everyone a running commentary of what each thing is, my younger brother taking the censored out of my older brother (the highlight of my Christmas!). After having lunch (my other highlight) I'll probably spend the rest of the day on Rockband 2.

I live on my own so will be driving to my parents after breakfast for present opening, then no booze :( as since driving back late afternoon to drop off car and walk to friends' to hand over present to their 5 year old. Then I can finally push the boat out and have a small sherry at friends' house :)

Going to relatives in Telford tomorrow for a meal and such, then back to my rents the same night. Christmas day will consist of much eating, drinking and being merry. Probably playing a lot of games too considering how many have been bought and the fact that pretty much all of my retro stuff is here...

Have a good one, everybody. :)

Going over to my uncles on christmas day, where there are no consoles/computers at all  Going to my dads on boxing day though and atc least he's got a 360 so some Rock Band/Guitar Hero will be in order.
