Apparently we're all geeks, according to my girlfriend anyway. She wanted you all to know. So here'a a poll for those with partners, do they consider you to be geeks???

No - she doesn't think I am a geek - but she insists I am very very sad

Not at all, I meet my wife in a videogame shop (she nearly beat me at Tekken... Nearly ;) ) and she plays as many games as I do, as well as being a stunning looking woman :D

Yes, but she is totally supportive of it. She let me bring my Cab in from the garage and doesn't complain about all the retro 'crap' I keep buying, or the large amount of time I spend on this forum!

Yes she is great, buys as many titles as I do and has her name on the top of some scoreboards on the cabs

Since this post we went down to Sunset Boulevard in Aberdeen and we both had a go at House of the Dead 4, -EXCELLENT game, which she actually did a lot better than me at, she also likes the other house of the dead arcade games, think i'm starting to turn her.

Yes, my bird thinks I'm a geek. However, she is also a geek (crafts, making greeting cards, jewellery, sewing etc.) so we cancel each other out! Our spare room has my video game geek-station at one end and her craft geek-station at the other! Domestic bliss! :D
GAME OVER YEEEAAAHHH!

Well there you have it, partners believe we're geeks by a 2 to 1 ratio. At least we all know we're not alone now.

She thinks I'm a geek, but accepts it. I've managed to get her playing Zookeeper on the DS and I have to admit, for me, it stirs feelings 'down there'... cough.

Other than that, she's as big a geek as me but focuses on things other than gaming.
