Do me a SEGA.....................

Post by EvilArmourKing » Sun Oct 05, 2008 1:56 pm

Stumbled across this last night on gayBay, and was so incenced at the seller's blatant audacity that I'd like everyone with an eBay account to send him a Best Offer, no greater in value than .99p

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=020

Maybe he's just a comedian? But then again, even comedians have to put up with being heckled, so go for it guys.

If you in need of further a chuckle, check out the price of his MegaDrive "Altered Beast".

And the fact he dares to ask for an ADDITIONAL £3.50 postage. You've got to be sh1tt1ng me

I'll try it out.

BUT, I don't wan't him to accept a .99p offer, so he can still make a quid off of the postage! :o

For the 99999th time though why doesnt he just put it on for 99p and a reserve of 60 quid ? Then when the highest bid is for 4 quid he might realise his reserve is stupid.

Or do a quick search for completed listings, i mean Sonic 2 for that price is a total joke

When I used to sell on ebay I started everything a 99p, no reservs and £2 post. Quite offten I would just get 99p for them (which when all said and done actualy ment I made about 20p profit.) but somtimes random common games would get into bidding wars.. i.e Sonic 2 on the SMS sold for £12 and Shinobi went for £7.

I guess some buyers just don't shop round much.

Here's a good example of mental buyers..
2 identical games, both will ship world wide, both ended within a week of each other. But one sells for 10 times more than the other..

£210.00 - X-Men in Mojo World

Don't worry, we'll all chip in and help you pay the hefty postage costs if you do win. Good luck!

I am not offering 99p. With £3.50 postage it would be over priced at a penny.

HOLY C RAP!!!!!

Have just been brousing through some of my Megadrive collection and realised that I have TWO!!! copies of Sonic 2. Both are complete and in good nick.

Wow, I thought I was skint for a while, but now all I have to do is list them on the bay, naturally undercutting the competition at the same time.

Does £29.99 or Best Offer sound like a fair price to you lot?

What are the odds of finding such rarities so easily??

See, I should be paying more attention to what games I already have and not fishing around the net!

I was so intrigued by this, i looked at this sellers shop - absolutely no concept of the price of things - i mean, Robin Hood prince of thieves for 9.99 with like 4.50 P+P, and thats for VHS copy!!! My local charity shops always have this for like 25p. Eeeediot!
Also, so many random items like hair brushes and hair gel, for stupid prices and equally silly P+P. Sent the seller a message that if i wanted hair gel, i would go to boots/superdrug, not look for it on eBay, and even if i did, i wouldnt pay those prices.
i dont know if i am more surprised or angry...
