PSJ,

I just ordered the first two books (B&W).

If I like what I see I'll contribute some reviews :)

See, you've gone and done it now... You've set me a challenge to become retro show God! ;)

I'm happy to be a disciple for the time being though.

I really don't know why people can't just get along. I argue with people on here all the time...sometimes I'm in the right, often I'm in the wrong, but I don't think it's worth throwing your toys out of the pram or holding grudges against anyone because things often get twisted out of all proportion on a forum that could usually be sorted out over a quick pint in real life. If a topic gets locked or derailed for any reason, just draw a line underneath it all and start the next discussion with a clean slate.

This forum is a friendly place full of reasonable people. Newcomers are always welcome.

But if you're going to take real, serious offence at everything that anybody says to you online, think ill of people that you hardly know and throw insults at people without trying to get to know them a bit first, then maybe you should do something else in your spare time.

Just my opinion.

Agreed.

If you're going to get all offended about stuff thats said on the internet, then you rteally shouldn't be allowed to own a computer.

Or indeed be allowed out in public on your own.

Now I just keep thinking of that song that plays as Homer walks to the ring in the episode of the simpsons where he is a boxer

I don't know what all thsi is about. I certainly would not join a forum and start flogging stuff. I also would not buy and sell stuff with someone who is not a regular. I have done this recently and had no problems cos they are regulars on here and i trusted them. Thanks guys, by the way.

Basically, they are unwritten rules and are common sense. If any posters do not like them, this is clearly the wrong forum for you.

I think we can all agree that this is a very friendly forum and often the only way to communicate with like minded people. As I've saiid before I just wish newbie posters would 'stick with it' for a couple of weeks and earn the trust and respect of longer term forumites. Why bother you might say? Well they have invaluable info and insight, I know bugger all about import games or whatever but have learnt a lot from Shadowman, Dudley, PSJ, Overheat, Antriad etc... and while I don't always agree with everyones opinions that does not make them bad people, I'd happily have a beer with any of them.

To be fair the 'disagreement' was old news, hey I bought and loved your Weekend Gamer DVD, bought it at the discount price of £8 at Retro Fusion, oh and I was always support of your sons contributions - consider us even!

I still think I'll get you a pint at the next event, see if we can't start a new debate ;)
Are you going to make it to Witchfinders little gathering by any chance..?
