If it was loose i'd keep it, wouldnt even think twice.

in a wallet with some info about the owner inside i'd look them up myself on google if there was no address and either ring them or just go round and drop it off.

I found a wallet on the bus about a year of so back, there was about £20 in it , a work photo id and a few bank cards. I looked the guy up and called him. He was overjoyed.. didnt care about what was in the wallet but apparently the wallet itself was very sentimental to him for some reason.

If i saw the person that dropped it i would hand it back to them..

Otherwise i would keep it as i wouldn't trust anyone else to hold onto it incase someone came looking for it.

That said when i was younger i found £10 and was forced to hand it into the Police station by my uncle.

3 months later i got it back cus nobody claimed it...
£10 back then to me was a fortune too.. :)

I'd keep it and spend it on lottery tickets thereby keeping our overprivellidged sailing, and rowing olympians in the money for the 2012 Olympics, we need future Pippa's to achieve gold!

Indeed. The phone boxes in our city are awash with left behind purses and the buses are full of wallets. If it wasn't for all the cashed giro money lying in the streets, I might pick some up ;)
