Love classic car modding.

I'm a big fan of the 'wolf in sheep's clothing' look, so battered old beasts that look like rot boxes with nicely tuned lumps in them.

Always wanted to drop something big into an Austin Montego :D

I currently have a few random motors laying around, as I mentioned before I enjoy my old 2CV, it has an ultra light galvanised chassis, gas flowed heads, 9:1 barrels and pistons, lightened flywheel, performance side exit exhaust, forced air induction etc. etc. always a nice suprise for people off the lights ;)

Of course the best thing about classics is the insurance, I payed £98 last year fully comp on three cars with British ane European cover & Brit & European breakdown 8)

My next purchase is going to either be a Capri or a Cortina, and my next kick in the balls will be when my missus finds out.

Capri's can be heavily modified (different carbs, fuel injection on later models, limited slip diffs, gearboxes, etc). Plus as you said you can get them on classic car insurance.

Has anyone ever used a water methanol injection kit on a supercharged or turbocharged car?

It was a great time in my life! Made loads of friends and hung out with some very interesting people.

I can't really describe what it was like. The best example I can come up with is for you to watch George Lucas's American Graffiti & set the music /fashions/cars etc in the mid 90's.
