Best cameo ever?

Post by StickHead » Sun Aug 03, 2008 5:22 pm

Just finished watching a Blackadder II episode on UK Gold (The one with Bob, not sure what the title is) and Rik Mayall makes an appearance as Blackadder's best man. He's onscreen for about half a minute and completely steals the whole show. His moustache comes off at one point, but the director/editor obviously felt that the take was too good to cut!

Watch the classic scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9FcNuR-TOs

"I've got a plan, and it's as hot as my pants!"

Can anyone else think of a cameo that tops this one?

Real Wibbly appearing alongside Wibbly Wibbly (and his son) in the art gallery sequence towards the closing scenes of Communion. Be sure to watch the European (UK/DE) 4:3 DVD version if you can, the "special" US release is letterboxed-by-crop and, unforgivably, cuts out about 3 minutes of footage at certain key sequences that are more than notable by their absence, rendering certain later lines obsolete and depriving the audience of the, yadda yadda yadda. Little blue fuckers, about this big. I've seen them as well. A few times. by now.

(Tall thin ones, too. With big eyes).

The Three Stooges is just stood there doing nothing in the firemen uniform.
The DVD have included the intermission in the middle of the film.

That's why it's the best cameo ever, they're on screen for about 2 seconds. :D
