there was a (very) small bootie at north weald (chav infested) market. bought Memphis Belle on DVD for 2 quid (and its an excellent film, to boot) plus Global Gladiators and Evander Holyfields 'Real Deal' Boxing, boxed and complete for 50 shiny pence each. And EHRDB is bloody hard. Only 5 punches landed in 23 while 14 out of 26 for the computer........i dont think so!!!!!

picked up a nes & 27 games for £10, clearly been sat in a garage/shed for years, everything covered in cobwebs dirt & dust, does give me a warm glow inside to be able to add to my collection something that has been neglected for so long :D

Went to the big local Bank Holiday car boot sale/market yesterday and picked up:

Robocop vs Terminator for the Megadrive for £2 (boxed, no book)
Outrun Europa for the Master System for a quid (boxed with book)
Frogger for the PS1 for a quid

Not a massive haul but considering I had unsuccessfully bid £3 on a copy of RvT the previous day and had Outrun Europa on my Ebay watch list, I'm pretty happy! :D

On Sunday I got a second guitar for Guitar Hero :)
Co-op multiplayer mode ahoy!! :D

I'm kicking myself for not buying the Platinum Edition Gamecube for £10!

It is, but not as good as the first GC Metroid.

Actually, it's also bloody hard in places.

no one seems to worry if the consoles work or not?

I once bought a dreamcast for 5 quid with a couple of (common) games but when I got it home it wouldn't play any games. Could have got it repaired I suppose but where?

Guess I was SUPER LUCKY then.

Couple of years ago I stumbled upon a Boxed DC, looked almost brand new outside and in, asked "how much for the playstation" and was told £5.

Sold.

Then asked how much for the 5 games (mostly average to crap fare - apart from Soul Calibur and MSR) and was told - £1 (pause) For the lot.

SWEET.

Mine worked.

Went to a different carboot this sunday morning for a change.....
Managed to bag myself 5 atari 7800 carts for a £3.00,bit manky, prob been in a garage by the looks of it but they work.
Also a PS1 for £4.00,which takes my total to 8.cant seem to stop buying them.....they seem to have little or no value now.
