Went down yesterday and got Midway Arcade Classics 1 on the PS2, but that was it. Did spot a Dreamcast pad and a copy of Bubsy 3D (so awful I was tempted) on my first walk around but it had gone by the time I got back

Another trip back up to Wales and another decent haul,

Boxed Sliver PS2 slim with Singstar Mics and Eye Toy cam, - £5
Silent Hill Homcoming (360) - £1
Res Evil 4, Zelda Twilight Princess (Wii) Xbox 360 Wirless dongle - £5 for the lot
4 PS2 Promo Discs - One of them is Altelier Iris 2 - £2
Halo Wars (360) - £2
Stakeland DVD - £1 (Been meaning to watch this for ages)
Nights into Dreams (Saturn) - £2
Family Guy Season 7 - £3
Indiana Jones Raider Of The Lost Ark Hardback Marvel comic - 50p

Passed on alot of stuff today as well as i had to give my folks a lift to the train station at 8.30. Didn't get a SNES with a load of games for £25 which im still kicking myself about as i could have got it down soem more. Boxed Amiga 6000 with games for £15. Annoyingly there was a stall that one guy was looking after that had a boxed Meanacer Light Gun on in mint condition. The woman he was looking after it for had gone to get something and half an hou later still hadn't come back and i had to go. Also didn't pick up a few more reasonably priced slim line PS2's. Could have easily blown £100+ yesterday.

No carboots this week, what with being at the Olympics.
Did stop in CEX Stanford and picked up General Chaos and Steel Talons on Megadrive for £5.
Went to Retro Game Base on Saturday but sadly came away with nothing as the Megadrive selection included nothing I don't already own...
Was good to see the old systems on the go but the place is so small and cramped I couldn't really see anything :(

Don't mean to be Mr correcty pants - but were you at CEX Stratford (not stanford)? I've been keeping an eye on the MD games there for a while - hoping they would reduce them. There is a Cash Converters a bit further along but retro is slim pickings over there.

Wish I had known you were here , would have offered to show you some of my favourite shopping haunts.

Lovely stuff there! I'll give you a pound for Lomax if you fancy making 200% profit

Rarely see these on eBay and i've seen them pass the £100 mark comfortably, so was very excited to see one at the carboot today
It's a Gamate in a near mint box with 6 games and their instructions

They wanted £4 but i got it for £3, bargain!
don't really know a massive amount about it but it seems quite fun from what i've played so far

also picked up a Sony tape recorder thing which i'm hoping to use with my Speccy +3 for £2
Visit www.youtube.com/replayretro . why? well erm, cos it would be awfully friendly of you to take a look i guess, you don't have to though, nobody will make you *sob sob*

well done with the gamate...to quote Cartman from the coon episode "fu@king bitch".... :D

have you checked the RG issue that featured the gamate to find out what revision you have? Some have good screens some have poor, worth a check and enjoy your holiday you have after you've sold it on eBay

Great find mate.

Only went to the local car boot this morning at the football ground, picked up Gears of war 1, 2 and 3 for £6 (worth it for 3 alone_ so can finally get around to seeing the ending on 3. One guy was selling an atari lynx with 2 games (Chips challenge and batman returns), all unboxed, baking on his car roof in the sun and a little scruffy, only wanted £90!

And I quote: "It's rare piece of kit mate, could get a ton on eBay".....well jog on

They are killing off all the markets in my area, while its slim pickings (unless your into bootleg DVDs), the ones that are left are a bit censored and full of the same people selling the same stuff every week.

Feels bad man
