Nothing. As tempting as a scabby DS lite with a broken hinge for a mere £20.00
was, I left empty handed again.

Halo, Halo 2 and LOTR for original xbox. £2 the lot.
Now I need to find a working machine.
Also took rubbish bags to local tip and came back with a fully working, great nick HP G56 laptop. It just needed ram and a hard disk, which I had in a drawer.

Thoughts and prayers.

Has to be the worse season ever for me this year.
Everything is worth a fortune according to the sellers and there is little or no retro goodies left in the wild now.
Have the good times gone?

I never find anything anymore - its all ridiculous stuff at horrendous prices. And thats just my own stall. My prices at a boot sale tend to be based on less than completed listings but not so much that I cant get something back.
I also never use the 'i can get xxx on ebay' , i usually say 'ive got it on ebay for xxx , but you can have it for yyy' and it works most of the time. I also tend to ignore the traders when i set up and tell them i dont have games. i put out my other stuff first. Most traders will hassle for games but rarely buy at your prices - almost regardless of how much you ask.
I usually add traders discount onto my price and see where it takes me - if im making profit , i dont mind if its not millions!

Picked up a real gem today
A boxed (looks unused but i suspect it has) AVermedia Game capture HD 11 device , bang up to date as it states can be used with PS4 XBOX1 and WIU .
Paid £10 for it , and its still being sold for £85plus on amazon
http://www.amazon.co.uk/AVerMedia-Game- ... ture+hd+ii
looks an awesome bit of kit ,but prob will never get used ,but for a tenner its a bargain.

If you haven't flogged it yet I'll take the Lego game at that price

Re: What did you buy at the carboot today ??
It's Cart only. No box or instructions. If you're that interested I would just send it to you free.Treguard wrote:

Sensible soccer for the mega cd. Nice find.
Hope the Pacman board game is sealed. Other wise it's not as good as new
