Looking for a monitor

Post by Sega2006 » Mon Jul 28, 2008 1:36 pm

On Friday I get my Quad core but Im still stuck with a borrowed Monitor. Ive looked around quite a bit but not really seen anything worth whats wanted for it. Ebay is turning out a little crap too.
Rather then give my Money to some strange individual in cash converters I thought I might ask one of you lot.
Im looking for a LCD Monitor, between 17" to 20" that isnt going to break the bank and is reliable. Ive got a GeForce 9600 GT powering my graphics so I need a nice screen to do it justice.
Let me know if you've got anything but I cant really do much more than £120 inc p&p

Got the missus one of these a while back:

It's excellent and almost inside your price range, I think if you call them Overclockers will accept a cheque too, they are nice chaps there.

If you've got a cheque book then surely you have a debit card to act as a guarantee, haven't you? In which case why not just buy it online with that? :?

Ah, I see... Didn't know you could get a cheque book before you were 18 either! You'll be able to get the debit card once you are though... :D

Bought an ACER 19" Widescreen monitor in Staples. Awesome display with a VGA cable and a 360.

Wont your folks help you out ? I didnt have a credit card when i was young but if i had the cash someone (normally one of my parents or even a friend) might pay for something with their card if i gave them cash.

Surprised the bank havent given you a card already though
