Ultimate / Rare developers

Post by fgasking » Fri Mar 31, 2006 10:11 am

Hi there,

Just doing a bit of research, but can anyone name some names of the various developers who used to work for Ultimate (Over any format)?

Cheers :)

No. Chris & Tim Stamper (with John Lathbury) were employees of Zilec - a British company nthat made arcade games. The three left to set up Ashby Computer & Graphics in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, initially in a small office above a shop. Ultimate Play The Game was a label with a distinct personality - large boxes with impressive artwork, and an air of mystery surrounding each new release.

When the Stampers sold Ultimate to US Gold, they set up Rare to develop games for the NES.
