I'm really surprised at how many girls have been hiding on this forum under apparently butch pseudonyms

Two Dogs was the stuff back then! We used to play football all afternoon then sit in the long grass drinking whatever we could get hold of and smoking lamberts.
One of the drinks of choice was "Mack 'n' Ernies". It was alcoholic coke that tasted foul and gave you heartburn. But you got a massive bottle for £1.50 from the shop. That and Lambrini.

When I worked behind bars as a lad, shifted plenty of Hooch and MD20/20 to punters Thur / Fri / Sat, then all the barstaff went out on Sunday - and that night would begin with a large MD20/20 to line the stomach. Strawberry for me please.
And Pigs' Eye beer.
And I haven't touched Gold Label in nearly 20 years. Now that IS a brown bag drink.
