What do you think was the worst film of the 80's ?
I've left out Heaven's Gate for obvious reasons - it would be a one horse race no doubt!
Some John Hughe's films stand the test of time really well - i.e 'The Breakfast Club'. Others such as 'Weird Science' that have been broadcast on ITV3 recently, I found embarassing to watch - but then, maybe it's because I'm now a (semi) mature thirty-something and that film was aimed at pre-pubescents...

None of the films in the 80s were rubbish. They were all pure class.

Why is Weird Science on the list? That must be in the top 10% of 80's films. A few of us last week at work were talking about how great that film is.

I refuse to vote as the films listed range from so-so to great.
None that deserve the title "worst"!

There can't possibly be a bad film of the eighties? Even the "bad" stuff was so cheesy, it was great!

Yeah, got to say any list that has Cobra, Basket Case or Weird Science as the worst films of the 80s doesn't really work for me. Not when there's stuff like She-Devil with Roseanne Barr, Desperately Seeking Susan, Less Than Zero, Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold, Xanadua, Staying Alive etc etc out there. Especially Staying Alive, no matter how great a sequel to Saturday Night Fever, written
and directed by Sylvester Stallone might sound.

Spoil sport, I love that movie.
Quite a few films on the List are classed as classics so why would they be the worst? Belive me I have seen worse movies, some recent some from the past but not in my collection

The words are English - but they don't seem to make discernable sense in this order.
