3D Super Woofer

Post by TheDude18 » Sun Dec 09, 2007 2:39 pm

Hi all. Any one remember 3D super woofers? The ultimate in Ghetto Blasters! An all speaker front with the tape decks and controls on top. It looked mean - The ghetto baster of choice for the devil.

I dont know how to put pictures up on the forum. Can enyone find a picture of one?

My woofer was in immaculate condition until my big sis lent it while she renovated her house. it was promply coverd with paint/plaster and verious controls snapped off.

I remember them well. I had one and regularly used to blast Metallica and Slayer out at the skatepark when we were sessioning stuff.

Can't find a pic, though I remember them being made by Hitachi?
Thoughts and prayers.

My older brother had one.

Sounded great, used to have the Amiga sound through it at one time.

One thing though, it used the chew tapes up like nobodies business!

I had a 3D Super Woofer, you'd press the bass button & all the speakers came on line & the sound was awesome! The soft eject on the cassette deck was ultra smooth too.

Ah the bass button!
Forgot about that! I use to crank up the volume to show off to my mates and as they comment on the good sound hit the bass button to knock there socks off! After that I'd go and sell a kidney to buy a boot full of batteries!

Iceman: You two really are cowboys.

Maverick: What's your problem, Kazanski?

Iceman: You're everyone's problem. That's because every time you go up in the air, you're unsafe. I don't like you because you're dangerous.

Maverick: That's right! Ice... man. I am dangerous.

Awesome! Who made these? Am I right in thinking there was a later version with a CD player too?
