George Carter and his mate were playing Pong in an episode of The Sweeney I watched over the weekend.

Incidently, Virgin Megastore has the all 4 series box set for sale for Â£30 at the moment.

on eastenders a few years ago, one of the characters (wicks'es son?) was going mental or something, anyway to show this the writer obviously decided that video games where involved somehow....

...so there was a quite a good shot of him playing panzer dragoon zwei on the saturn, i think it was the canyon bit on the second level.

wether it was the low res textures that sent him nuts i can't say.

Fight night and GTA San Andreas in that movie with Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn. Can't remember the name......

A Tempest upright cab plays a significant role in the 80's zombie flick Night Of The Comet - there's even a significant amount of gameplay footage in the movie (the heroine loves the game)...

The Replacement Killers (Chow Yun Fat) also features an Altered Beast Coin Op - when the "Replacement Killers" of the title track down Yun-Fat and Sorvino, it is clearly visable (and possibly an in-joke) as the camera pans around one of the assassins.

The only good bits from The House of the Dead movie were the end credits and the actual game footage used to shift between scenes.

US sitcom Two and a Half Men has an XBox 360 in it and Jake can often be seen playing his Nintendo DS.

Part of Top Secret was filmed in my town...

The bit where they are fighting Germans in the castle and the Cows have welly's on..

That was filmed at Rockingham castle on the edge of Corby where i live. I remember me and my mate biking up Rockingham Hill and all the German helmets were lined up along the side of the road..

Also if you look carefully during one of the battles at the castle you can see cars going down the hill in the background..

The Game Gear appeared in Rumble in the Bronx where you see the kid playing on it without any cartridge inserted.
