Any good retro-themed coasters to recommend?

Post by Spector » Mon Feb 08, 2021 7:36 am

I'm looking to buy some coasters for tea/coffee mugs and was wondering if there were any good retro designs that weren't ludicrously expensive. I'm particularly interested in the 8 bit era so anything from that time would be good. Suggestions?

There’s quite a few in the Mug Coasters section of https://www.rhayadercomputers.co.uk/

I guess you must know this, but it's always worth backing Fusion Retro Books on Kickstarter Spector as they give away nice extras such as coaster and mugs as stretch goals.

What really annoys me is that the rhaydercomputers link has some good options, but the best one of all - the arcade machine coasters set-is the only one that's sold out!!

That's why they're sold out I guess!

BUT....there is a happy ending, because I just got an email from the website owner saying they are back in stock and I bought 'em! So thanks to Mr Spiff for giving me the link in the first place, and there's a lot of other good stuff on rhaydercomputers site as well :)

Piles of NES cart ones about, when Game opens again it's worth a look in their merch bins as stuff like this does pop up, just be wary of anything made by Paledone as they quality is legendarily p1ss poor (and I do speak from experiance)
