Yeah 67 quid was for both At-at and x-wing mate and that the key, if they cost 100 quid plus as they did not do long ago then I wouldn't have got it

But for 30 odd quid, even if it does get broken pretty quick, the sheet happiness my little bear will get is more than worth it, and I'd rather have a happy 4/5 year old for a few weeks than a happy toy collector for year!! I reckon most would agree too

Which makes me think the arse may have fallen out the star wars toy market because you would have had no chance of getting just one of those for 67 quid a few years back

Just standard little figures were going for tenner not so long ago

Collecting I totally understand, but collecting somethin in order to do nothing with it is a bit beyond me!

Heck I have about 15000 dvd's as can see in my sig link, but those are watched or mainly copied and sold

I have a video game collection (nothing like what most of you guys have tho) but those games are played

Collecting toys and not playing with them I don't see the appeal of, maybe as an investment, but as say looks like that may have gone tits up looking at prices now

Loads more detail, torpedoes, two astromechs, Luke and Porkins.
Like say that was for both

Think he has Lego one up his mums anyway, or the new movie version of x-wing with 6 wings

The Star Wars toy market is as strong as its ever been, there's just a much bigger range now thanks to The Clone Wars adding about an extra 30 hours of content to the canon.

There was a new, more accurate and larger AT AT released recently which will have replaced many of the older incomplete ones people had (like yours). Given the missing parts, yours has evidently been played with before so the prospect of your son doing the same isn't horrifying.

The recession has bitten, collectors are being a little more selective. You just got lucky at that price I think.

Not sure. Vader's Tie Fighter was available which from memory wasn't much bigger than the X-Wing. That Tie IS a whopper - but still very cool 8)

I have TIE Fighter envy now

The original TIEs had smaller wings and a large body which wasn't quite to the correct scale. The revised model you have is much later, possibly even one of the 'new' ones.

yeah I kinda remembered them being a bit "dumpy" looking, so maybe this one is newer!

Yeah the At-At's are even dearer mate

Plus at 5 as he is now, I prefer ghe has something like this with far less parts to lose!
