Interesting to see those super hero and star wars crisps - in these days of branding and copyright there's no way anything like that would make it out the factory. And more's the pity.

^ Sure I've seen Ringos in some of the cheapo shops here.
So it's a North Wales thing as well!

Space Raiders, used to have a David Bowie lookalike on the packets:

More interesting than the current packaging, certainly!

I can't find a picture of them anywhere on the internet, but I used to love Barry McGuigan's Nettle Flavour Jabs. When I say "love" they were foul, but because they were endorsed by the Clones Cyclone I ate them by the bucketload, such was my admiration of the man!
Then of course there were these....

I've given up on google image searches as it comes up with nothing but modern versions of my favourites from the 80's.
Suffice to say I loved Spicy Monster Munch (when they were in the yellow packet, before the yellow became roast beef)
Tayto Spicy Bikers, even though you can still get them in Northern Ireland, I've yet to find anywhere over here that stocks them.

Certainly don't do them in South Wales in any of the Super Markets or Wilco/Iceland the only to food shops we have left in town.. I see on Golden Wonders website and the only thing we get here is Quaterbooks.. They've shrunk in size and have inferior packaging againLiamh1982 wrote:^ Sure I've seen Ringos in some of the cheapo shops here.

I'd forgotten how Crisp packets used to look before they all became the same.

A picture has already been posted but the Fish n Chip shaped snacks were my favourite until they stopped making them

Re: Top crisps from the past!
I noticed two of my favourites, Fish'n'Chips and Piglets, already mentioned but my other long gone favourite was Bitza Pizza.

Never seen those! I guess they never sold them in my area, as if they did you can be assured I would have lived on them!

Discos are on special offer in my place at the moment, two packets for 50p
(no beef flavour, mind).
We still have Tangy Toms though.

An apostrophe in "Discos"!
Give 'em back to Disco then.
