I still don't get how gamebooks ever became unpopular as you never see them in book stores anymore. The FF books I occasionally find in second hand / Op shops.
There are newer reprints of FF, but with terrible new artwork. So if they don't get a newer audience it's well deserved. The amazing artwork was one of the strong points of FF, so why even change it for something so inferior?

Well I wasn't talking about that aspect. Just about gamebooks in general. I never see them in stores at all anymore.

My Brother has all the first editions of almost the entire Fighting Fantasy collection, all still in great condition.

We were looking at them just the other day and I agree that the artwork was fantastic.

The series was great for making reading interesting to children once again, although admittedly they were just as popular with the adults!

There have just been 2 new FF books released, one of which is written by Rhianna Pratchett (Terry's daughter, and videogame script writer).
