Just caught the end of film (As WOPR/Joshua is running all the Nuclear War scenarios).

Not seen film in years-Loved the PS1 game based on it few years back as well.

Felt more like what 'Future Strike' trailer promised....(dunno if you ever saw said trailer when you completed Nuclear Strike PS1).

Very enjoyable game despite very weak link to film.

I love War Games and still have it on video.

In fact it's amazing how many of the old films of that era I have. Really should rig up a VCR and watch them.

I watched this again after stumbling onto ITV and it was just starting.. my 10 yo watched it too and I had to explain all about Nuclear war and the arms race, all about com modems that you put the telephone on, why Matthew Broderick wasn't googling the problem!

Really enjoyed it though.. I think they should show Space Camp next! :)

I remember seeing this when I was a kid and I thought it was a p*ss poor film then, I'll have to give it another watch some time to see if my opinions changed as I've got older and wiser, well older anyway.

I caught War Games too. I loved it when I was a kid and I enjoyed watching it again. I had a bit of an 80's movie thing going on all weekend with Back to the Future and Eddie Murphy RAW as well as War Games.

I remember Space Camp now you mention it. I don't have very fond memories of it but I reckon I'll have to check it out again.

Very fun game, but I much preferred the PC version.

There was a free app of the day WOPR wargames on kindle last week, its a kind of match 3 or 4 symbols each symbol represents shield/missiles/points etc.

Its ok, not a life changing experience.
