Sticker albums

I had Spain 82 world cup album (may actually stil have it) but it has 4 stickers missing. Also have a full 1994 Premier League album (I know I was 22, but I wanted to see if it had the sae buzz as when I was 10).

I think I had World Cup Italia '90 sticker album. During that year, I played the game version for the Master System.

Also I still remembered the stick-figured mascot of that tournament. It was named Ciao.

completed = transformers, god knows how many league and world cup footy ones.

most random = the first gulf war sticker album. Had pictures of mines and Colin Powell and stuff, was good though.

Seeing as I grew up in the 90's I remember the Premier League sticker albums from Merlin. I think I managed to complete the 98 and 99 ones.

Also had a Star Wars Episode 1 Sticker Album which I completed (I was about 12 or 13 when Episode 1 came out). I remember going to Legoland one day to swap my unwanted stickers for the rest!

Don't have any of them now. They were chucked away a few years ago

Yes - agreed. Panini were the top sticker album producer. I remember having a Pete's Dragon sticker album, a Buck Rogers sticker album, a Dune sticker album, an Aristocats sticker album etc.

Most of these were given away free with comics such as Whizzer & Chips, Buster, Whoopee, 2000ad etc. And if you were like me and regularly bought two or more of these comics a week, then you had twice the amount of stickers for free!!

Actually there's one sticker album I had that was by Panini. It was a Simpsons one from like 99/00, and that was pretty cool. If I remember correctly, some of the stickers were scratch and sniff. Some of the scratch and sniff stickers in the nuclear power plant section really stank of toxic waste!

Not a sticker album but I have a completed star wars tazos album from a few years ago, the tazos came in random bags of walkers crisps and I noticed that if you felt the bag of crisps you could tell if there was a tazo in side it, quavers where the best for this, cue me going round supermarkets and shops feeling bags of crisps and buying about 5 bags a day just for the tazos.

I finished the Return of the Jedi one back in 83, sent off for about 5 I couldn't get, too. Also made a good attempt at the 83-84 and 84-85 footie albums.

By god I remember those too! My brother had the Looney Tunes one.
