Did anyone else get the comic SCREAM! - It was brilliant and ahead of it's time.
Only lasted for 15 issues but all of them were great!

Beano, Dandy, Topper, Buster/Whizzer and Chips, Scream, Victor, Our Wullie, and the Broons, damn that was alotta comics

Beano and Dandy were my faves. Then I graduated to magazines like Crash, Zzap 64, Match, Shoot and Look-In, and sometimes Smash Hits. I feel sorry for the delivery boy :)

I lived in Italy as a kid, and I used to read basically only local italian comics. There is a huge italian production of Disney comics, and even a bunch of duck characters were created by the italian artists (obviously not the top characters, but secondary ones such as Duck Avenger/Superduck). But there were hundreds of different original italian comics, from those suitable to little kids to darker and more serious ones such as Tex and Dylan Dog.

Marvel and DC comics, I never liked.

Oh and I definitely didn't steal uncle's dirty comics...
