It's a great film and not an obvious choice for a 90's classic. I thought 80's Miami Vice was a far greater influence on GTA Vice City 80's setting.

It is a great film. Love Pacino in it. Gets shown on ITV 4 now and again.

I might even prefer it to Scarface. Great film!

But its set in the 70's.

Classic film though. I love the whole train station sequence.

Sean Penn played the sleazy, creepy, slightly cuckoo, lawyer superbly and probably outperformed Pacino. Pacino was still excellent as he usually is.

I love Scarface as well. Pacino is so over the top in it - remember :"Say hello to my little friend!" when he comes out with the bazooka at the end!!!!

Carlito's Way is a brilliant film!

Not one of Pacino's most famous films, but certainly one of my favourite's, and one that gets regularly watched on DVD! :D

Like nearly every Character Pacino plays Carlito Brigante is just so damm cool! 8) 8) 8)

As for GTA Vice Cite, Carlito's Way was an ifluence, with Scarface and Miami Vice being the primary influnces as well as 80's Pop Culture in general.

Great movies, great game!!!

It was a funny reversal in that film how Pacino was the calm, mature one and Penn the crazy violent one.
