80's 12" Singles

Post by the_hawk » Wed Apr 14, 2010 4:28 am

For any fans of 80's 12" singles like myself there's an absolute must have bargain on play.com at the moment - six cds worth for only five quid...

http://www.play.com/Music/CD/4-/1143962 ... oduct.html

Some absolute crackers on there...

Atomic (Diddy's 12" Mix) - Blondie
Some Like It Hot (12'' Mix) - The Power Station
Situation (12" Remix) - Yazoo
It's My Life (Extended Mix) - Talk Talk
We Close Our Eyes (12' Version) - Go West

Full track listing here http://media.play.com/ContentDocs/11439623.pdf

Fantastic. :D

One of my faves is Belouis Some's 12" remix of Imagination, but like you have loads more favourites including Talk Talk's It's my Life.

Whilst these comps are great though, I usually have 80% of the tracks already!

Cool thats on my shopping list nice to see them being the more alternative better side of the 80's 12"'s ie anything before 1987 and not S.A.W. :D

I'd get this just for The Sigue Sigue Sputnik 12" as I have it on vinyl and it features Bladerunner samples.
