I remember both Groovy Ghoulies and Drak Pack but I can't remember which was better, I may have to do some more tracking down.

Here's another obscure one, brought back to mind by watching a recent repeat of The Young Ones...

LAZARUS & DINGWALL starring Steve Frost and Mark Arden, as two detectives from the Really Serious Crime Squad. Sort of like a British version of Police Squad. Most memorable things for me were the accountant (who was bad at everything) and the two Plain Clothes operatives (played by Simon Godley & Neil Mullarkey, who would turn up in different but really precise outfits every episode).

A shame it only ran for one series. And that was 20 years ago this year!

Precisely.

Which is why I am seeding stuff like Dastardly and Muttley and 'proper' Tom and Jerry in to my kids diet of Dora and Princess Holly.

One of my kids is cartoon mad and despite being far too young will sit in front of TMNT and Dungeons and Dragons, making such insightful comments as 'I don't like Krang/Venger etc etc'.

Virtually Impossible was god-damn awful! Can't believe it came from the same person who created Knightmare.

I know it's had a brief mention, but Ovide Video had a great theme tune, although I can't remember exactly what it was about.

Go for it? Anyone remember that? Families had their diets and fitness completely analysed... the best memory I have was the guy who smoked thousands of cigarettes, and they brought out 3 or 4 clear bin bags stuffed full of cigarettes, saying this was how many he smoked in a month (or maybe year).

Yeah, Ovid Video! It was some birds who lived on an island and ran a restaurant, and there was a snake who tried to sabotage it a lot. Also some koalas.
Still got this on VHS, but for some reason the sound doesn't work anymore. Hmm.

I'm sure it's probably been mentioned here already (most likely by me) but does anyone remember Samurai Pizza Cats?

Does anyone remember a children's TV show called 'Galloping Galaxies'. It was a sci fi comedy show and featured the voice of Kenneth Williams as a computer called 'SID'. It was written by Bob Block(he of Rentaghost fame).

I'm not going through the 18 pages!

Anyone remember a cartoon from the early 90s (probably 92) about a boy and when he fell asleep he'd wake up in a different world? NOT Jamie and his magic torch!

It was on Children's BBC at half four. That's all i really remember. In the other world his mate was possibly a dog...

Was it a cartoon? In which case it MIGHT have been Potsworth & Co.

Loved them Samurai Pizza Cats, the "movie" of it was one of the first things I ever got from a torrent site :D
