Well after thirty years Grange Hill finally comes to an end tonight - Mon 15/09/08.
Apparently Tucker makes a guest appearance on tonight's show.
"Conan, what is best in life?"

Am sitting in front of the telly to watch my first episode in about 20 years... and my last (as it's over!).... :)

Loved it in the "old days" though...

Well that was a bit of a letdown... all the excitement of a bomb and it doesn't even go off!

Nice to see Tucker in a small cameo, best bit was seeing Tuckers name listed in the end credits (even though I had to slow it down as they scrolled past too quickly!)...

Grange Hill RIP...

Yeah the espisode was flat but when Tucker turned up on his Ducati, my expectations rose.

Great to see him back in the role.

My girlfriend has just bought me the series 3 and 4 boxset. Its a bit before my time as I was born around the same time these were filmed so I never saw them first time round.

I remember watching Grange Hill in the mid-late 80s. It had been running 4 years before I was born, but I'm old enough (27) to remember it in its hey-day.

I even remember 'Just Say No'.

I also remember sometime in the 90s on Saturday mornings they re-ran classic Grange Hill Episodes.

I watched the final episode. It was the first one I'd seen in years. Frankly it was rubbish!

It was nice to see Tucker back and everything, but it really has turned into an awful show. Great shame really cause I used to love it!

Still, I'll always have it on the Speccy!

I would like to see some old episodes again but i wouldnt buy a boxset. I think this is where say Tesco DVD online works well as you could just get the discs in order and send them back.

Be honest if you watched these Grange Hill episodes would you really watch them again in the future ?

Personally, I will. The boxset is six discs in total and thats what I enjoy about it. The fact I can sit and watch episode after episode. Im the only one in the office where I work and theres not a lot to do so i'll sit and watch a whole disc. Plus I rewatch dvds to the point where my girlfriend says its stupid so I end up in the spare room watching them on my xbox 360.

Fair enough. I love 24 but i wouldnt buy it as after i've seen it once thats not something i would really come back to.

Do hope BBC2 or another channel start showing old Grange Hill re-runs, i mean the early ones though

Wasn't Tucker just a bit confused that his school had moved to Liverpool?

I remember watching a tacky, but fun, 80's porno that had the grange hill theme tune.

Slightly better than the one I watched that had the theme from 'this is your life'

Im afraid im one of those sad people that would watch it over and over. I recently sat my niece down with me to watch an episode where Trisha yates and Kathy are being followed by a stranger and he tries to get her in his car...my niece being 11 was riveted and thought it was the best thing ever. I also bought the Degrassi Junior high dvds and have ordered the red hand gang dvds also....

they dont make them like they used to --fact.
