Immortal lines for me come out of Bottom mostly, esp the gasman episode.

'visited a house, nothing untoward happened, left in high spirits to indulge....in my hobby...of...bussurfing.'
'Let his name be praised' - Lo Ray, Body Blows.

I always like Bottom - fav quote:

Whats you name?
Eddie Hitler
Any relation?
Yes.

Eddie was great. No matter where he was he had a pint of larger in his inside pocket of his coat.
Crown the wise, harness the talented and cherish the lucky.

For years my friend Paul and I used to greet any self-success with the cry "Fantastic! I knew I was great!" in homage to Richie.
"He who lives only to benefit himself confers on the world a benefit when he dies."

Bottom Live 1-5, oh yes. Although 4+5 were a bit weak, 1-3 were fantastic. When they are in prison and the big prison boss takes a fancy to Richie.

'You remember when you called him censored censored censored censored as we entered the wing, dodging the spit and foul language'

'I have some reccolection, yes'

'Well thats the nicest thing anyone has ever said to him'
'Let his name be praised' - Lo Ray, Body Blows.

Favourite Young Ones quote :-

Rick - "Both my parents are dead"

Neil - "You think that's bad"
