Snap - Red Dwarf is one of the worlds greatest TV shows ever... But I love the others as well so I can't really vote for one over the others.pottyboy wrote:I've cast my vote...
RED DWARF
So good it's the only one out of this lot that I've got on DVD! Have the complete series 1-8 plus some of the remastered ones on VHS.
Hell, I even bought the limited edition series 5 and 8 just so I can get the Starbug and Skutter toys!
The martian mumps comes from series 4, from the episode 'Justice'. It didn't explode on screen, but the squelching sound was cool and I nearly threw up when I saw Lister's face shortly afterwards the first time!
My favourite series is definitely series 5. With episodes like Quarantine and Back To Reality you really can't go wrong! And if memory serves me correctly, at the beginning of an episode, Lister is playing the Lord Of The Rings game with a 'taranshula' in his joy department!
Worst series? That's gotta be series 7. Wasn't that good really. Series 8 was much better.
Special mention should go to series 2, where we also found out that Holly fell in love a Sinclair ZX81 until they said that she wasn't for him as she was cheap and wouldn't load!

I just tried to decide whether I prefer Red Dwarf or Brass Eye and my head exploded, it just couldn't cope

Was going to go for Brass Eye, have it on DVD and love it. But then decided to ask myself, which one could I watch a load of episodes back to back of without getting fed up. So surprisingly enough went for fantasy football league. (Original Series)
