Anyway , since they've already done the thread necromancy.
I always wanted one of these but couldnt afford it as a kid.
I've always kept an eye out at jumble sales and the like in case one appeared.
I managed to get the remake (fullsize) one in a Book shop over here called Easons (our equivalent to WH Smiths I guess)a few months back for €10! (thats about £7.50 your money)The batteries pretty much cost more!!Well worth it though.

I noticed in WHSmith window yesterday that their new xmas poster is advertising a 'Bigrak Junior' but I didnt have time to go in and investigate.

Saw some of these reduced to about £10 a few weeks back, i resisted temptation dont think my Kids would be particulaly impressed by them.

Just spotted this thread after talking to a mate about it the other day.

I'd never heard of it before but he always wanted one when he was growing up but never got one.

This being the internet its probably stupid to ask, but has anyone converted a Big Trak into a normal radio controlled car?
